Rubber-Cal’s Neoprene rubber is a tough elastomer sheeting that is ideal for industrial applications. Sometimes referred to by its chemical name chloroprene, neoprene is a versatile material developed by DuPont in the 1930s. The introduction of rubber neoprene met the increasing demand for a rubber material that could resist chemicals and outdoor conditions. While other types of synthetic rubber may degrade quickly under intense physical conditions, this solid neoprene is designed to endure.

This versatile neoprene compound is a mix of Styrene Butadiene Rubber SBR and Neoprene. Offers moderate resistance to some oils chemicals abrasions and weathering effects. Performs well in temperatures from -20-212 F making it great for industrial applications. The 50A durometer gives this soft rubber material a firm surface with excellent pliability. 3/8-in is a thicker option of 10 available gauges and works best in highly-abrasive applications.
