Aqu-ward - Mayco

Cone 06 oxidation (larger image): Aqu-ward is a heavily pigmented, viscous Stroke & Coat®glaze that can be used for brush strokes or opaque coverage. One coat will create a translucent finish with subsequent coats adding opacity. We suggest two to three coats for full opacity and all over coverage. Will fire to a gloss finish without clear glaze. Cone 6 oxidation (smaller image): Opaque. Color Slightly lightens.

Stroke & Coat is also knowns as The Wonderglaze and can be applied to wet clay, or bisqueware, fired from Cone 06 to Cone 10. Brushing one coat can create a translucent finish or apply up to 3 coats for opaque coverage. When used for a majolica technique, the glaze will not move nor blend with the colors beneath. Stroke & Coats can be intermixed to create custom shades and fires to a glossy finish.
