Tired of struggling to move your heavy countertop appliance to where it can be used? This is the answer! A simple caddy that slides easily on most countertops in any direction, yet stays in place even with a KitchenAid stand mixer running. Customers are using these for coffee makers and other items as well. Replaceable felt pads on the base keep it from damaging your countertop. A piece of wood is attached to the front for use as a handle. Don't be restrained by designs that only roll in one direction, these slide in any direction without the risk of damaging your countertop! Shown in the pictures are 2 caddies with appliances on them (a KitchenAid mixer and a Cuisinart Food Processor), views of the top and underside of a caddy with the felt feet, and a sample of the four most common wood types for comparison. You must tell me what size you need and I will make it to meet your specifications. Also, you must tell me which side the handle should be on. Currently available woods are: maple, ash, hickory, and black walnut. In the past I have made larger caddies, but I am not satisfied with the quality because I cannot ensure they will be flat. Therefore, I am now placing a 13 inch maximum on the shorter dimension, which ensures I can put the board through the surface planer. For example, you can still order a 16 by 9 caddy, but not a 14 by 14 caddy. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please allow me 1 week to make and prepare the item for shipping, though I am usually able to ship within 3 days (add a day if staining is requested). Shipping within the United States only. Since these are made to order, no returns are accepted. Measure carefully. You will notice that these caddies shown are sized slightly larger than the appliances, so please take that into consideration when ordering. It is important to leave space for your fingers to pull on the handle.
