These past few weeks I’ve been busy incorporating pinecones throughout my home. Besides their natural beauty, they are quite possibly the easiest way to introduce autumn into the home with the least amount of expense. And since I have LOADS of pinecones, I thought I would welcome fall this year with these simple white pinecone decor ideas that I’m happy to share with all of you today 🙂 Why ‘white,’ you may ask? Although white can sometimes feel cold, in my home it actually brightens and lightens up our surroundings rather beautifully. I have a lot of brown and wood tones in my furniture and flooring (which I love), but without something to contrast with, all those browns could appear a bit heavy and dark. And while dark may work beautifully in many homes, admittedly, I adore contrasts in general – whether it be in colour or style. And white, as well as tone-on-tone whites and creams, really provide that hit of interest I so crave.
