Description

Indigo has a deep history around the world as well as at The Fabric Workshop and Museum. Join us in our archives to explore the artist box of Yoshiko Wada, then head to our studio to learn the basics of indigo dyeing using the tie-dye technique with raffia straw. In traditional Yoruba Indigo practice, this resist dye technique is known as Adire Oniko. Participants will receive kona cotton to create their sample and learn several tie-dye motifs. []
