Universal Escutcheon Extender Expansion Ring, 5" Step Down - Available In Multiple Colors Inside Diameter - 1 15/16" Outside Diameter - 5" Depth - 1/8" Available In The Following Colors and Sizes: 5 Inch Outside Diameter Flat Plate Chrome White Escutcheon extension rings are commonly referred to as expansion plates, extender rings, or escutcheon expander plates are used to extend the existing escutcheon out to cover holes in the ceiling that are larger than the existing escutcheon.  These can be installed around the escutcheon.  These are an easy alternative to having to repair the ceiling.  Verify that your existing escutcheon inside diameter is smaller than 1 15/16" in order to fit inside this ring. Note:  Rings are not UL listed an approved.  Please verify with your fire sprinkler head manufacturer to view which options are approved for your specific sprinkler heads, and verify with you authority having jurisdiction to ensure they are approved.
