Dritz Elastic Thread can be used in multiple projects; create gathering, shirring, and smocking on lightweight fabrics. This Elastic Thread is very thin, so you can even use it in the bobbin of your machine (it's recommended that you hand wind the bobbin, though). The elastic core is wrapped in polyester, which makes it glide smoothly. You can even wash and dry the thread in temperatures up to 200° F.
