I wish I could take credit for “discovering” these scissors for cutting metal but instructors at Jewelry Arts were already using them by the time I started as a student, 30 years ago or so. Yes, believe it or not they are made for deboning chickens but they work amazing well on cutting the metal sheet thicknesses we most commonly use in the studio, 30 – 24 or 22 gauge. They have the most comfortable handles and sharpest blades of any shears I’ve tried. I use mine for everything and I find them completely indispensable. My only warning, they are SHARP, so keep your fingers out of the path of the blades!
