This is a kit to make two miniature weavings. It has all of the materials and instructions for you to be able to make two projects. Kit includes: • two laser cut birch plywood looms (2 x 1.5 inches) and shuttles, designed by me • two skeins of hand-dyed wool yarn in two different colorways • a tapestry needle • two pages of photo instructions For this kit you will need to provide scissors and craft glue. You may finish your loom into an ornament, use it as a miniature art piece, or add a pin back or magnet (not included). This kit is suitable for beginners, but not recommended for children under 8 years old; it does contain small parts. The yarn in this kit was hand-dyed specifically for these looms, designed with very short color changes. When I first designed these looms I was frustrated with not being able to find yarn that was just right. Most commercial yarns have such long color changes that one color will fill the whole loom. So I decided to dye my own and that's part of what makes these kits really special. Your kit will have two different skeins dyed to make fun stripes and plaids. These looms are designed to be *decorative* items, not working tools for weaving fabric pieces. Due to the small scale, it is very difficult to remove the fabric from the loom without damaging it.
