A Narex premium scratch awl is the ideal way to accurately scribe lines into wood for your joinery projects. The round shape of the cutting edge allows this tool to part wood fibers easily and cleanly, and the ergonomic design allows it to be held in a variety of positions so you can place your lines exactly where they need to be. Dovetails, mortise and tenons, even veneer and marquetry patterns can be marked out with this well-made tool.
A Narex birdcage awl allows you to cut pilot holes and countersink existing drill points precisely and efficiently. Made from high quality chrome-manganese alloyed steel and sharpened to a square point on both the primary and secondary cutting bezels, these birdcage awls allow for true wood cutting that their scratch awl cousins weren't designed to do.

Narex Imperial Sized Bench Chisels
These chisels are manufactured by Narex of the Czech Republic and are of exceptional quality. The blades are made from fine-grained, nicely tempered chrome-manganese steel and hardened to 59 HRc. The blades take and hold an excellent edge. The blades are accurately ground and have a slimmer cross section. Bevels are ground at a 25 degree angle. Handles are stained Hornbeam with solid brass ferrules to withstand vigorous mallet work. Blades have well-seated heavy steel tangs.
