Made from super soft wool. It is thermal bonded to prevent bearding and will shrink 0-3%. Wool breathes naturally and allows air to pass through, making an excellent summer quilt. It also has qualities that provide warmth in the winter. Machine quilters who desire very closely stitched areas use wool for its softness and warmth. Nature's Touch Natural Blend Batting is a soft durable and substantial batting created for quilters who want cotton with the added benefit of wash-ability and good stitch definition. It is made of 80 percent ultra Clean Cotton and 20 percent Polyester with a scrim binder that allows for stitched areas up to 8 to 10 inches apart. It has an expected shrinkage of three to five percent. It has a soft loft creating less resistance when hand quilted and a soft quilted finished look.
