Optima Butt Chisels from Blue Spruce Toolworks

If you prefer the control a shorter blade provides, Blue Spruce Toolworks Optima™ Butt Chisels are for you. Whether you're working in confined areas, carefully mortising for hinges or working on small dovetails, these butt chisels give you the stability and access you need. The connection between the chisel and the handle combines a strong socket with a deeply fitted tang. They're available in nine blade widths from 1/8” to 1-1/2”. The overall length of the chisels is about 6-1/2" with the standard style handle. You also have your choice of a shorter handle to match your hand size and type of work.
