Recommendations for tree sap removal on paint

On my 2003 TJ, I have a spot of tree sap on the hood. Not real noticeable, bit I know it’s there and want it GONE! I did try GOO GONE, following bottle instructions. No luck getting it off. Would Rubbing Alcohol work? Any suggestions?
