Boro means rags in Japanese. Slow-stitching workshop, inspired by the Japanese Boro tradition of repeatedly mending fabrics. This workshop, run by an experienced teacher and textile enthusiast, involves an introduction to Boro, a demonstration of stitches and how to lay out fabrics. This is a fabulous opportunity to explore slow stitching, packed with beautifully curated blue fabrics and threads. All equipment is supplied and you will have your own piece of Boro inspired textile art to take away with you at the end of the workshop. No experience required, suitable for all.
