Medium sized blacksmith tongs that fit multiple sizes of stock. They are made in the bolt tong style for clearance for curves and bends in your stock. These will hold from 5/16" to 1/2" stock and are about 17" long. They are made from mild steel so they can be cooled in water when needed. They have a beeswax finish so they won't affect your work. The tongs are made from 1/2" stock to be heavy duty enough to handle the larger stock sizes. this is a great addition to our small tongs. You need these tongs if you make things from 5/16 to 1/2' stock sizes. The loop behind the jaw allows to hook or curved item you are making a place to pass by and not come in contact with the jaw. They excel for hooks and pointers and ornamental items. These tongs have been one of my shops top sellers since we started on . You also should get these tongs if you think channel locks or vice grips work fine for tongs. You will burn your fingers a lot less using the right tool for the job. There is no magic pair of tongs that fit all metal sizes, this size is a good start and you will soon see why shops have so many pairs of tongs. There is a pair for every size material that you could buy. Get out to the shop and bang on some metal and enjoy.
