It is important to note that the back of the heat platen raises above and away from the bottom table. This provides better access than other clamshell presses. The frame support allows you to slide shirts over the table with complete drape space around and underneath the loading area. Interchangeable bottom tables for smaller pressing areas are available. Our home based businesses with space limitations will love the size, portability, and mobility compared to the over-weight swing away presses. Pull it off the shelf, use it, and put it back on the shelf so you can use the counter space for something else. The DK20 can be easily upgraded to an automatic release press with the Pop-Up upgrade. This allows for faster semi-automatic garment production at a very reasonable price. Add to this the twin station upgrade as well, and you have the ultimate clamshell dual station light production machine. By simply allowing the press to complete its timed cycle it will automatically release upon completion. Add the automatic release feature to your machine by selecting (Include) the drop down option above.
