Homestead House Clear Furniture Wax for sealing Milk Paint or Chalk style painted Furniture Based on an old family recipe for over 30 years our Furniture Wax is a dream to work with and goes on like butter! Soft Lustre - Virtually No Odor - Museum Quality Our Furniture Wax is a fine museum quality wax based on an old family recipe. It is easy to apply, provides a durable finish with a beautiful lustre and has almost no odor. The Tinted waxes have the same formulation as the Furniture Wax, however it adds color. How to use this product: Using a brush or lint free cloth apply to your surface. Leave on the surface for a few minutes then buff to a shine with a clean lint-free cotton cloth. This product may be applied directly over dry milk paint or other painted surfaces such as Chalk Type Paints or Fusion Mineral Paint for an increased lustre and protection. Clean brush with soap and warm water. How to Use Tinted Waxes: Use a clean cotton cloth or brush to apply wax in a thin layer, working into recesses of carved details or surface imperfections. Wipe away excess, allowing wax that has built up in recesses to remain. Allow it to dry for 3-5 minutes. Buff to a shine with a clean lint-free cotton cloth. This product may be applied directly over dry milk paint or clear wax and does not require an additional finish. Clean brush with soap and warm water.
