The advantages of this is that this yarn doesn't bloom as lofty and can therefore be treated like a worsted weight. It also means that there is less pilling with beautiful drape and stitch definition. It's perfect for cables and lacework will be more open and block better than a fluffier woolen spun yarn. It is 100% Superwash Extrafine Merino., 100g, 166m/181yards. Hand or machine wash on gentle cycle, lay flat to dry. As always, we recommend hand washing to prolong the wear and beauty of the yarn.
