The paper has excellent tooth for pencil, charcoal, and pastel - yet it is smooth enough and sturdy enough to accept ink drawing and light watercolor washes without buckling. 100% acid free materials, stitch binding, a durable elastic closure, a clear envelope in the back cover, and a satin book mark highlight the beautiful construction of these books. They are finished off with a hard cover that is wrapped in a fine linen book cloth. The landscape books are bound on the short side of each book; there is also a portrait book available that is bound on the long side. 128 pages.
